Membership to Color Congress is free. Membership is for organizations that are led by people of color and that prioritize filmmakers, leaders and audiences of color in the documentary field, and that wish to work with peer organizations to build power as an ecosystem. We define people of color as those who identify as Black or African American and/or of Indigenous, Latinx, Pacific Islander, Asian, Arab and Middle Eastern descent. Participation in member events is optional, but strongly encouraged.
Eligible organizations include artist collectives, working groups, networks, or nonprofit organizations that support documentary films and filmmaking.
